What are the admission requirements for the MBA Management Excellence?
Students can be admitted to the Master of Business Administration in Management Excellence if they can provide evidence of at least 2 years of relevant professional experience and have a state-recognized university degree with
▪ at least 210 CP according to ECTS for the study program with 90 CP according to ECTS
▪ at least 240 CP according to ECTS for the study program with 60 CP according to ECTS
has successfully completed the program. Missing CP according to ECTS, which are required for admission, can be acquired through additional modules within Steinbeis University or other academic institutions. Proof of outstanding achievements must be submitted to the university no later than 9 months after the start of enrollment.
In addition, professionally qualified persons may be admitted to Steinbeis University's continuing education Master's degree programs in accordance with §27 para. 8 HSG LSA and in accordance with the regulations for the admission of professionally qualified persons.
Applicants whose native language is not English and whose first university degree was not obtained at an educational institution where English is the language of instruction require proof of their English language skills (level B2 CEFR). This requirement is met by anyone who can provide proof of 6 years of school English in the form of their Abitur certificate or university entrance qualification certificate. Otherwise, a corresponding certificate must be obtained from a language school or similar institution. IELTS 5.0, Cambridge Examination FCE or CAE or CPE, TOEFL Paper 500 or Computer 170 or Internet 80, UNIcert® II, Duolingo with a minimum score of 100 or comparable test certificates are recognized.
