Thesis Defense - Registration and Reservation

When registering their Thesis via the Registration Page for Transfer Project Elements, students can select their desired Thesis Defense date using the available drop-down option on the registration form.

Before scheduling your Thesis Defense, please ensure that the following requirements can be fulfilled in a timely manner:

1. The Study Work (SW) is completed, and a passing grade is received. An SW is only required for students enrolled in the Bachelor, Master of Science, and MA Business and Organizational Psychology study programs.
   1. For students working on the 30-page SW paper, this has to be submitted at least 12 weeks before the desired Thesis Defense date.
   2. For students doing the presentation-based Study Work Exam (SWE), this has to be completed at least 8 (eight) weeks before the desired Thesis Defense date.
2. All INSIDER Module Exams are completed, and a passing grade is received. Alternatively, if there are still any open INSIDER Module Exams, these have to be submitted at least 8 (eight) weeks before the desired Thesis Defense date.
3. The slide deck for the Thesis Defense presentation is submitted at least 1 (one) week before the Thesis Defense date.
4. Your university enrollment status remains active on the day of the Thesis Defense and all outstanding invoice(s), if any, have been fully settled beforehand. If you notice that your enrollment status will expire before the day of the Thesis Defense, then you are required to apply for an extension of your study period. Please keep in mind that a fee might apply for the extension of your study period.

If any of the above‑mentioned requirements are not met, the Thesis Defense cannot move forward, and the student will be placed on the waiting list until everything has been completed and confirmed. Should the preferred Thesis Defense date be fully booked at the time all requirements are fulfilled, students on the waiting list will be offered the next available Thesis Defense date.
