The project coaching of a Transfer Project
The following information is taken from the "Guideline Transfer Project". In addition to the information provided here, it is strongly recommended that you read the entire guideline, as it contains much more important information about the Transfer Project.
- To start your Transfer Project, please fill out the registration form for the Transfer Project which can be found in the S-NEXT OnlineCampus (My Studies > Applications & Registrations > Transfer Project Registration) and send it to the Academic Management Team. The Academic Management Team will then promptly get in touch with you.
- After the student and project coach have been successfully matched, a first joint project development meeting takes place, during which the student and project coach can exchange information about the steps taken so far and get to know each other.
Should subsequently the student or the project coach believe that they do not match, there is a possibility to report this to the coaching team and request another coach. Basically, a change of coach is also possible at a later date, for example, if the thematic project orientation shifts significantly that makes a proper change necessary.
- If the project coach and student decide to go through the process together, the actual coaching process subsequently begins, during which each student goes through 6 sessions of 30 minutes each with the coach to talk about the development of the work, solicit feedback, and discuss problems.
- Distribution and coordination of the 6 dates is the responsibility of the project coach and student.
Ideally, at least one session takes place before the presentation of the project study work in a Group Project Session and two more each between the project study work and the submission of the study work or study work and submission of the thesis. However, this distribution is at the discretion of those involved in the coaching process.
- Students also have the option of taking advantage of additional project coaching units with their project coach for a fee. A corresponding form for commissioning and associated costs can be found in the Application Management of the OnlineCampus (My Studies > Registrations & Applications).
