# Bachelor's Thesis
## A Bachelor's Thesis is an application-oriented scientific research project that demonstrates a student's ability to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies. It involves the structured investigation of a defined problem through the use of established research methods, data analysis, and evidence-based conclusions and recommendations.
The Bachelor's Thesis marks the completion of the Transfer Project and provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate their ability to address a practical challenge using scientific methods. The Thesis should reflect a structured approach to research and show how theoretical concepts can be applied in a professional context.
The table below outline the key formal requirements for the Bachelor's Thesis.

The MS Word template for the Bachelor's Thesis provides a structured framework for planning, writing, and formatting your thesis. In addition to the required layout and formatting settings, it contains chapter examples, practical instructions, and guidance on academic writing to help you successfully complete your first major research project in accordance with Steinbeis NEXT requirements.
Together with the Bachelor's Thesis, a 3- to 5-page summary in the language of the Bachelor's Thesis must be submitted in electronic form by the deadline. This separate summary is mandatory but is not included in the evaluation. It can be created without citation from the elements of the introduction and the conclusion of the Bachelor's Thesis. The separate summary does not require any indexes or references.
